Wow! What a day!

2011 Lexus IS250 AWD F-Sport
Some exciting things happened today while behind the wheel of some worthy luxury sports cars. I wish I could tell you more, but I'm currently busy writing up their reviews. First up, I took a spin in Lexus' new IS250, a car you shouldn't really leave out since it could give the 3-series a run for its money. Next, the BMW 335i X-drive Coupe, a teenagers equivalent to an M3. And to bring it all home, I had a go at the new Jaguar XF, of which I will see more of tomorrow at NYIAS (New York International Auto Show). I can't reveal to you the details at the moment, but I will say this: that Cat can run! Check out all the stuff tomorrow along with a heap of NYIAS photos.

A Jaaag Waiting to Pounce

2012 Jaguar XFR
The XF is back and better than ever. Today in New York, Jaguar officially unveiled the all new facelifted kitty infront of a pack of worthy XF fans. As you can see, this Jaaag is ready to pounce on the BMW 5-series. Taking some styling from the big cat, the XJ, the XF looks more aggressive, as if it was about to eat all of BMW for breakfast. Speaking of BMW, the all new M5 has probably met its match, again. Jaguar also unveiled the all-new XFR (above). Engine power remains the same; 510 horsepower 5.0-liter Supercharged V8 with a 0 to 60 in about 4.4 seconds and limited top speed of 155 MPH. Of course, the new M5 has 552 horsepower, but since Jaguars are famous for being made of aluminum, this Jag is much lighter than the M5. But honestly, I really don't car. This is one of the sexiest Jags to ever come out since the new XJ, even the E-Type. I just wish they upped the anti in power. But hey, power comes natural when you're in a Jaaag.

It's a Jaaag!!

2012 Jaguar XF (Courtesy of WorldCarFans)
Check it out!! Looks like the Jaguar XJ doesn't it? Well, it's not! What you are looking at here is the all new Jaguar XF. It looks like it's taken some shape from the big cat, the XJ, and man it has never looked better. No word on whether the V8 engines will be tweaked, but there will be a new 2.2-liter turbo-4 diesel engine ready by launch time for Europe. This is just a leaked photo of the car. The real thing will be in New York in about two weeks, and I will be there personally to check it out.
